<description>You asked about how old you need to be to become a pilot.
You can begin flying as a young teen, solo at age 14, and get your private pilot&#039;s licence at age 17. And pilots continue to fly into their eighties.
This video gives a good overview:

<description>It&#039;s a great idea to book an introductory flight and you can experience your first flight and also have all your questions answered in person. Here is a coupon for a discounted introductory flight.

		<description>Hi Neil,

Introductory flights (Discovery Flights) may be booked at most Flight Schools for any time that is convenient for the student. You must call ahead to arrange, and you will then meet with an instructor for the Introductory Flight. The Instructor will be able to answer most of your questions at that time. You will be given a tour of the airplane and be involved with a pre-flight of the airplane before taking to the pilot seat. The instructor will taxi and take-off, but then the instructor will usually give you a chance to fly the airplane. You will be shown straight and level flight, turns, climbs and descents, etc. After the flight, you will have a much beter understanding of the exciting process to becoming a pilot.

Regarding Private Pilot vs. Recreational Pilot...

It depends upon the type of flying you plan to do, and the number of passengers you might want to carry. The Rec Permit is becoming very popular and may be a great way for you to start in aviation.

Once again, talk to an instructor when you book an Introductory Flight.

Contact the Flight School regarding the next Ground School start date.

Once again, start with an Introductory Flight, and many of these questions will be answered.

Thanks,</description>

		<description>I have 3 questions
How often are the indroductory flights available?
What is the difference between private pilot license and recreational pilot license?
I just plan on doing recreational flying so I believe that is the license I require.
When does the next course start?
Please advise at your convenience.
Thanks
