Floatplane Refresher Workshop
GBA offers a comprehensive Floatplane Refresher Workshop for pilots who have not flown on floats for a while. This is a great opportunity for you to become current again, and review the float flying basics. Spend a day at GBA and get back to flying on floats.

GBA Fleet
The Seaplane Fleet at GBA provides students with great aircraft for flight training. Their fleet includes the locally manufactured Found Bush Hawk, and the well known Cessna 180′s.
Found Bush Hawk
This seaplane is the newest addition to the GBA fleet of aircraft, and it’s locally made in Parry Sound by Found Aircraft Canada Inc.
The Bush Hawk is fast, comfortable and a pleasure to fly in. The Found Bush Hawk features large windows, providing excellent visibility. This airplane is great for sightseeing, and well designed for unobstructed view and photography of the beautiful Georgian Bay landscape and scenery. The Bush Hawk is a four place aircraft, and it also provides ample room for golf clubs. It’s ideal for a quick trip to the golf course, and excellent for sightseeing or fishing trips with loads of cargo room.
Cessna 180
The GBA Fleet also includes the well known Cessna 180’s. These are an essential part of the bush flying industry. The Cessna 180 is extremely reliable, and it’s exceptionally popular and well known for performing sightseeing trips, charters, aerial photography, fishing trips, camping trips, and cargo runs. Cessna 180’s are a great Seaplane for float training, as this aircraft type is likely to be used during your flying career.

Parry Island Tour
The Parry Island Tour departs from GBA’s Floatplane base in Parry Sound Harbour. From the air, you will follow Georgian Bay’s rugged coastline past Killbear Provincial Park. You will then cruise past historic Parry Island, and then return over the fantastic South Channel. The 25 minute tour requires a minimum of two passengers. A deluxe upgrade is also available.
30,000 Island Tour
Your air tour will travel north to Snug Harbour, and then fly over Killbear Provincial Park and the ghost town of Depot Harbour. Your flight will follow the glacial carved shoreline south and then you will fly by the famous Henry’s Fish Restaurant located in Sans Souci. Your air tour will then fly northbound over the body of islands and lakes comprising Massasauga Provincial Park. Total tour time is 35 minutes, and a minimum of two passengers is required. A deluxe upgrade is also available.
Sunset Champagne Tour
Looking for a Romantic Adventure? Your special loved one will truly appreciate this 35 minute Romantic Air Tour. The two of you will be the only passengers in the plane, and you will enjoy a special view of the sun setting over scenic Georgian Bay. When you return from your romantic experience, a special gift basket is waiting. It includes chilled champagne to help the two of you celebrate your romantic evening. A deluxe upgrade is also available.
Fly and Dine
Georgian Bay Airways will fly you in to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at World Famous Henry’s Fish Restaurant. This is an unforgettable aerial adventure and dining experience. Every year, over 800 “Fly and Diners” experience this incredible adventure.
Henry’s Fish Restaurant is located on Frying Pan Island in Sans Souci, and Henry’s is only accessible by boat or seaplane. You will enjoy the finest Walleye Pickerel as you overlook beautiful Georgian Bay. Your aerial adventure begins at GBA’s base in Parry Sound Harbour. From there, you will be flown directly to Henry’s by Seaplane where you will also see many magnificent yachts parked at the docks. A minimum of two passengers is required. A deluxe upgrade is also available.
